For this project, I partnered with Students Without Borders to create a product that would provide security, home, and heath to its users. To accomplish this, I made The Heart Bag. The Heart Bag is made of durable canvas and contains a first aid kit, protein bars, a refillable water bottle, rope, and supplies to build a tent. These bags support a wide variety of people, whether the user is homeless, effected by natural disaster, or just looking to be prepared, The Heart Bag is effective.

Reflection:
Partnering with such a distinguished organization and being given the resources to better the health of my community was phenomenal. My final product was exactly how I envisioned it, it wasn't very expensive to produce, and it withstood many durability tests. One challenge I had was figuring out the best way to make the tent; the metal support beams in traditional tents are very heavy and would take up too much space. I solved this problem by prototyping different kinds of fabric with different ways to pitch a tent and I figured out that a tent can be made from simply rope and a blanket. Overall, I would consider this project successful because I was able to fulfill my mission statement and help people in my community.
