Although Fullerton is not a school that I am seriously considering going to, I really enjoyed College day. I admire the student center and dorms that the school provides. I like how there are a lot of things for the students to do while they are not in class, this is good for people who have a tendency to stay inside when not in class. Since I want to go to a school that has a good medical program, I enjoyed seeing the medical building. Most of the medical building seemed to be exercise equipment, for students training to treat sports related injuries. Since this is not the type of doctor I am studying to be, I am not considering this college as much as others. I would like to go to a college that has a good medical program and is in a city that I would enjoy exploring. I have no preference to the size of the college campus, either small or big would be okay with me. I'd prefer to attend a private college that has no religious affiliation connected to it. The number of people attending a college would not affect my decision to attend it, I am more interested in the academics. I'd prefer a college by a city, but I can see enjoying a more rural location. I work better in quiet classrooms, so probably small rooms, but either is okay. I don't care if school is close to home.
I am looking to major in being a general physician, a naturopathic doctor, or an anesthesiologist. The tour I took mostly went over student life around campus and more artistic fields, so I did not have a chance to see much of the medical program. I am thinking about going to a school in the bay area, such as Stanford or UC Berkley, but, it would require a lot of work. The school requires SAT Critical Reading: 450 / 550 and Math: 470 / 580, and ACT Composite: 19 / 24, ACT English: 18 / 24, ACT Math: 19 / 25. Per year, the school costs $23,505, and may financial aid programs are available.
I would manage my time a lot like I do now. If I know I will have about 20 hours of the day not in class, I would schedule how much time I would have after basic necessities, such as sleeping, eating, getting ready, ect. Then, I would see how long I really have, and use the time to study, see friends, go off campus, or utilize what the school has to offer (gym, pool, student facilities, ect.) At Fullerton, roommates are selected by finding people with personalities and majors similar to your own. All students have the choice to either live off campus, on campus, or at home. Extracurricular activities are offered, such as clubs and sports. Students can drive cars to school, but no cars are allowed on campus. Scooters, skateboards, and bikes seem to be popular ways to get around campus. Because of the time constraints, I didn't find out about NCAA sports, intramurals, fraternities, or sororities. Fullerton is in the middle of a city so there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.
