Title:
Measurement Lab
Purpose:
The purpose of this experiment was to take accurate measurements of water in different measuring devices.
Procedure:
I measured each container with the required tools and recorded the results.
Data Table and Observations:
1. Erlenmeyer Flask- 260 mL
2. Bottle- 280 mL
3. Conical Tube- 35 mL
4. 400 mL Beaker- 100 mL
5. 10 mL Graduated Cylinder- 6 mL
6. 250 mL Graduated Cylinder- 150 mL
7. 10 mL Beaker- 8 mL
8. Volumetric Flask- 160 mL
9. Erlenmeyer Flask- 1235 mL
10. 600 mL Beaker (temp.)- 22 degrees C
11. 400 mL Beaker (temp.)- 70 degrees F
12. Length of Tray (m long) 0.4075m
13. Length between blue markers- 4.5 cm
14. Mass of two shells- 1.4 g
15. Mass of one shell- 1.4 g
Conclusion:
After doing this experiment, I was able to have a recording of the shapes of different scientific instruments.
Error Analysis:
I measured many things incorrectly in this experiment, I was able to alter my results by learning the correct way to measure.
